Flying Legends returns!

Wonderful news for all of us with a passion for warbirds: the legendary Flying Legends airshow will be back. FL 2023 is planned for the weekend of 15-16 July 2023 and will take place at Leeds-East airfield, located in North Yorkshire, UK.

Leeds-East is the modern name for the former RAF station Church Fenton, which as military base closed in 2013. The airfield has a rich aviation history that dates from 1937, and which can be seen on http://www.rafchurchfenton.com/ The airfield’s military history makes Leeds-East an excellent alternative for Duxford to house Flying Legends.

Unfortunately the dates chosen for FL2023 have caused some arousal, as the event coincides with the annual Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford. Hopefully for next editions this can be avoided. The most important is that Flying Legends is back!
