Fuerza Aérea Hondureña UH-1H crash

A Fuerza Aérea Hondureña (FAH, Honduran Air Force) AIDC UH-1H  Huey (serial 953) of the Escuadrón de Helicópteros crashed on 17 March 2022, while on deployment to La Mosquitia, the northeastern region of Honduras.

The three crew members sustained injuries and were flown to a hospital in the capital Tegucigalpa.

Curiously, this is the fourth out of four Taiwan-donated Hueys that has crashed within four years of their operation with the Honduran air force.
