If everything goes according to plan, Hahnweide flugplatz in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany will be the scene of another Oldtimer Fliegertreffen from 12 to 14 September 2025. The most famous airshow and fly-in in Germany will celebrate its 20th edition, after a then six year interval.

Several factors have contributed to the fact that it took so long to initiate a new Hahnweide Fliegertreffen. The most important of these was, as always, the financial backing of the event. The period of the COVID pandemic meant an uncertainty in the number of spectators that made it too risky to organize it.

Even without a pandemic, organizing an airshow/fly-in of this size is still an undertaking with far reaching financial impact. It could potentially even have fatal consequences for the organization.

But with a dedicated insurance the risk of a financial catastrophe can be minimized. As can be expected such an insurance is very expensive. And that is where potential spectators and supporters can come to the rescue.

Becoming a supporter of the Oldtimer Fliegertreffen for a minimum of EUR 15 will help! Your donation will be used to pay for the insurance. How can you become a supporter of Hahnweide Oldtimer Fliegertreffen 2025? Just log in on the following website:

In return you will receive an exclusive sticker which entitles you to a Fliegertreffen program of the event and a surprise. And more important the knowledge that you have personally contributed to the No.1 Fly-in/airshow in Germany!

In the past 19 editions the Oldtimer Fliegertreffen has attracted numerous warbirds and historic aircraft from all over Europe. Some of the German based aircraft in previous editions were rarely seen across their border. As soon as more has become known on the various visitors, Scramble will inform you.
