The Japanese Ministry of Defence published its yearly defense budget request for Fiscal Year 2021, which is running from April 2021 to March 2022. As various parts in the budget are requests, the actual number of procurements and the amount of spending are still subject to change and the whole needs approval by the parliament.
The aviation related subjects in the FY2021 defense budget request are:
