"Just a nice Picture...!"

The Al Quwwat Al Jawwiya Il Misriya (EAF, Egypt Air Force) revealed some nice pictures of their MIG-29M/M2.

Rosoboronexport  received an order, worth USD 2 to 3,5 billion, for fifty MiG-29M/M2 in 2015. First deliveries started in September 2017. At least two Egypt MiG-29s have crashed (3 November 2018 and 5 December 2019).

The opening picture shows a larger formation with MiG-29M/M2s and F-16s and Rafales. Interesting to see that the left MiG-29M2 wingman carries two long range fuel tanks underneath its wings while the lead and the right wingman only carry one.

It is still not clear where Egypt its MiG-29 fleet has based, anyone? Please drop a line to the Scramble social media team at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you have more information about this.
