"Just a nice Picture...!"

On 18 December 2020, the 354th Fighter Wing and Alaska Air National Guard's 168th Wing completed a readiness exercise at Eielson AFB (AK). By showing off an 'Elephant Walk' with thirty fighters and two refueling aircraft, both wings verified their ability to rapidly generate combat airpower from Eielson.

With great amounts of planning, preparation and communication, eighteen F-35A Lightning IIs, twelve F-16C/D Fighting Falcons, and two KC-135R Stratotankers arrived on the flightline ready for a take-off.

Strikingly, on this same day the 355th Fighter Squadron was reactivated (See Scramble News report 21 December 2020) at Eielson.
