"Just a nice Picture...!"
A Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG has been adorned with special commemorative tail art representing ten years of F-15SG operations on Singapore soil.
The aircraft, tail number 8328, is seen here taking off from Paya Lebar air base during sunset on 2 February 2021, 18:45 hrs local time.
The first of forty ordered F-15SGs was rolled out in November 2008, with initial deliveries taking place with the 428th Fighter Squadron at Mountain Home AFB (ID) in May 2009.
The first five airframes to arrive in Singapore landed at Paya Lebar on 5 April 2010. The first operational F-15SG squadron in Singapore was 149 Squadron.
Two F-15SG squadron are active at Paya Lebar air base, 142 Squadron Gryphon and 149 Squadron Shikra. At Mountain Home AFB (ID), the 428th Fighter Squadron Buccaneers is the third RSAF Strike Eagle squadron.
