"Just a nice Picture ...!"

We start the New Year with a bit of nostalgia by showing this photo of the two former Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) KDC-10 tanker aircraft that were sold to Omega Air Services. The tankers were flown to the US in November 2019 and October 2021.

Dylan Phelps took the photo while overflying Victorville/Southern California Logistics (CA) where the tankers will be overhauled before delivery to Omega. The two aircraft are registered as N264DE (ex T-264, c/n 46985) and N235UL (ex T-235, c/n 46956). According to the FAA Registry, N235UL is still owned by Aircraft Endeavors LLc in San Antonio (TX), but is expected to be transferred to Omega in the near future.

It is not known when the aircraft will enter active service with Omega.
