"Just a nice Picture...!"

On 16 March 2022, aviation friend Piet Luijken caught this USAF Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor whilst banking towards the runway of Nellis AFB (NV).

Being only recognised by its small "070" serial number on the front fuselage, this F-22A is the former OT coded 04-4070. On 17 March 2022, it probably flew its first flight from Nellis in this shiny livery. Another Nellis based Raptor, with serial number 04-4065, which got a shiny jacket late last year, was also seen flying during that day.

Until now, only two F-22As are known to have these special colours. While being based at Nellis, its all about exercises, tests and development. At this moment it is not known to Scramble why those Raptors are covered in a mirror-like coating.
