"Just a nice Picture...!"

Dylan Phelps (Centerline Images) captured this US Navy C-38A Courier at Dallas Love Field (TX). The aircraft arrived with the call sign SCORE01 on a direct flight from its home base.

This aircraft, bearing US Navy BuNo (9)41569 (c/n 088), is one of two C-38A Couriers operated by Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 20 Force at Naval Air Station Patuxent River (MD).

This unit received two Couriers in 2015 following the retirement of the business jets by its former operator, the 201st Airlift Squadron DC Air National Guard. The other aircraft is BuNo (9)41570 (c/n 090).

VX-20 utilises the C-38A in various roles, including as a chase plane, radar test target, pilot proficiency, and for transporting officials.
