"Just some nice Pictures...!"

Ahmed Hader has been so kind to share some of his stunning images of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft that recently have been painted with spcial markings for Saudi National Day.

Since the last few years it has become a tradition for several RSAF aircraft to receive these special colours and markings to commemorate the occasion. Saudi National Day (Arabic: اليوم الوطني المملكة العربية السعودية‎ al-yawm al-waṭanī al-mamlaka al-ʿArabiyya as-Suʿūdiyya) is celebrated in Saudi Arabia on 23 September to commemorate the renaming of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by a royal decree from King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud in 1932. It was made a national holiday by King Abdullah in 2005.

This year the following aircraft received various "90 years" and "vision 2030" markings:

2406 A330-202MRTT
203 F-15C Eagle
9231 F-15S Eagle
1006 Typhoon
and an unknown Tornado
