Kazakhstan gets L-410
Two Omnipol/Let Aircraft Industries L-410s are being delivered from Kunovice to Kazakhstan for the Қазақстан Әуе қорғаныс күштері / Әскери Әүе Күщтері (ӘӘК, Kazakhstan Air Force).
The aircraft, both model L-410UVP-E20, 41 red (c/n 3411, ex OK-JNP) and 42 red (c/n 3412, ex OK-JNO), still carried their Czech test registrations.
The L-410s routed via Burgas (Bulgaria), Ordu-Giresun (Turkey) and Baku (Azerbaijan) departing 1 December 2023 and arriving Sunday 3 December at Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
On Monday 4 December both aircraft continued onwards to Aktobe where they will join the Military Institute of the Air Defense Forces named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union T.Ya. Begeldinov (VISVO).
