Morocco new customer for the C-390 Millennium
Embraer recently organized the second Millennium Users Groups C-390 Conference in São José dos Campos, Brazil. During the conference the company proudly presented the flags of the customers of their C-390 transport. These included the already known current (Brazil, Portugal) and future (Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands, South Korea) customer countries.
Although not announced as a customer yet, the Moroccan flag was also shown, as well as those of the Czech Republic, Chile and the United Arab Emirates. In the meantime, the official Kingdom of Morocco Armies X-account has revealed the purchase of a (yet unknown) number of C-390s. They will replace the oldest Lockheed C-130H Hercules which were delivered from 1974 to 1977.
Next to the C-130Hs flown by the Escadre de Transport 3, the Al-Quwwat al-Jawwiya al-Malakiya Marakishiya (Royal Moroccan Air Force) operates four C-27J Spartans and six CASA CN235s
