Argentina FAA B737 640New B737 for Fuerza Aérea Argentina

The new Boeing 737 for the Fuerza Aérea Argentina (FAA, Argentine Air Force) nears completion. It is being painted grey overall with serial number T-99 (construction number 33420/1459), as opposed to T-92 that was reported before.

The B737-700 was last used by SAS as SE-RJR and registered 2-ACSM on 18 December 2020 by ACS Aero for the Argentine contract.

Thanks to Pucará Defense we can also report that the name of the aircraft will be Islas Malvinas and that the aircraft will be ferried to Argentina 19/21 April 2021.

It will be taken up by the 1 Brigada Aérea at El Palomar air base, Buenos Aires.
