New Su-35S arrived at Lipetsk Aviation Centre
A batch of new Sukhoi Su-35S multi-purpose fighters, manufactured by the KnAAZ (Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Building Plant) factory named after Yuri Gagarin, arrived in Lipetsk.
The arrival of the new fighters was officially announced by the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation on 13 December 2021.
According to the statement, a batch of the latest Su-35S fighters joined the 4th State Centre for Aviation Personnel Training and Military Tests (4 GTsPAP i VI) of the Russian Ministry of Defence. The crews of the Aerospace Forces have completed the relocation of the aircraft from the Khabarovsk Territory to Lipetsk.
Judging by the published photos, we are talking about three Sukhoi Su-35S fighters with bort numbers 58 Red (RF-81868), 59 Red (RF-81859) and 60 Red (RF-95883) which were supplied to the Russian military as part of the state defence order for 2021.
