No, it is not an Elephant Walk!
On 5 May 2023, forty F-16C/D Fighting Falcons, twelve A-10C Thunderbolt IIs, two U-2S Dragon Ladys, and three C-12 Hurons gathered on the runway of Osan Air Base (Republic of Korea) to perform a "Mammoth Walk".
The combined ability of 7th Air Force at Osan during this joint effort event included aircraft from both the 51st and 8th Fighter Wings, plus the 5th Reconnaissance Squadron.
Including OS and WP coded aircraft, this large aircraft generation "Mammoth Walk" training event demonstrated the wings’ rapid generation capabilities and response readiness to generate combat airpower.
Bringing the F-16s, A-10s, U-2s and C-12s at a moment’s notice affirm that USAF's commitment to the Republic of Korea remains strong and must ensure regional stability throughout the Indo-Pacific.
