Pearl Harbour Museum receives Blue Angels 4
After the retirement of the F/A-18C/D Hornet within the US Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (USNFDS) Blue Angels, the aircraft are donated to several museums.
163768 found its way to the Pearl Harbour Museum (HI).
The aircraft was unloaded in the harbour and is planned for a reassembling at the museum between 8-12 February 2021.
Earlier Blue Angels legacy Hornets of the final display season were relocated to museums:
F/A-18C 163439/1 found its way to Washington at the National Air and Space Museum (DC) and F/A-18C 163435/4 can now be found at the Frontiers of Flight museum at Dallas-Love field (TX). F/A-18C 163485/4 departed to the Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run (MI).
