Peruvian GB1
In August 2024, the Fuerza Aérea del Peru (FAP, Peruvian Air Force) announced that two Game Composite GB1 GameBird single-engine, two-seat, aerobatic aircraft were to be acquired for the Escuadrilla Acrobática 'Bicolor'.
Painted red overall and sporting a large code '1', the first machine was handed over this week, being c/n 0103 formerly N500GB. The objective is to acquire four more.
Currently the air demonstration squadron, Escuadrilla XXI Bicolor, uses four Zlin 242Ls. The unit, part of Grupo Aéreo N°6, has its homebase at Chiclayo/BA Cap. José Abelardo Quiñonez Gonzalez.
