On 24 January 2021, former 309th AMARG resident C-145A 08-0310 (construction number AJE003-10) was noted at Moncton, New Brunswick (Canada). According to the photographer, Paul L Cormier, the PZL M28 Skytruck was en route to Kenya.
In 2016, three M28 Skytrucks were offered by the US Government under the Excess Defense Articles (EDA) programme. The African Aerospace Online News Service reports in 2018 that there are at least two aircraft on order. Maybe this is one of them, but confirmation is required of course.
Looking at the condition of the aircraft, Scramble Magazine assesses the aircraft will not be delivered in this livery to Kenya. We think the aircraft will receive overhaul and a fresh paintjob somewhere else, maybe with PZL (Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze - Polish Aviation Works) at Mielec in Poland. Time will tell where this Skytruck will show up in the coming week.
UPDATE: on 27 January 2021, the Skytruck arrived at Antwerp (Belgium) on a flight from Keflavik and Wick. On 28 January, it departed for Valtursko Polje (Croatia).
