Rare bird at Oberpfaffenhofen

Oberpfaffenhofen's Dornier is overhauling some nice military gems. Recently, on 4 September 2021, Botswana Defence Force's sole Dornier Do328-110 serial OB2 (c/n 3083) arrived for maintenance with Oberpfaffenhofen's Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH facility (Bavaria, Germany).

Already on 24 December 2020, two Kong Thap Ruea Thai (RTN, Royal Thai Navy) Dornier Do228-212s (serials 1112 and 1114) arrived for overhaul at Oberpfaffenhofen. Scramble Magazine reported on the arrival of the two RTN Do228s.

Although they have not been sighted recently, it is expected that 1112 and 1114 will be flying in a few months time after having being upgraded to Do228NG standard. In the mean time it is possible that other active Thai Navy Do228s could be delivered to Oberpfaffenhofen for an upgrade as well.
