Senegal Air Force CN235MPA to be delivered soon

In addition to our news item of 22 November 2020 on the first CN235-220MPA Maritime Patrol Aircraft for the Armée de l'Air du Senegal (Senegalese Air Force), we can now report that this aircraft is almost ready for delivery.

The aircraft, with Indonesian test registration AX-2348 (construction number N069), is expected to take up the Senegalese serial 6W-TTD.

Senegal has ordered two MPAs with PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Indonesian Aerospace).

The new MPAs will most probably be operated by the Escadre de Transport at Dakar/Yoff, but it might be that a new squadron will be erected to operate the Maritime Patrol Aircraft.
