Serbia Air Force MiG-21UM crashed

On 25 September 2020, around 10:00 hrs LT a MiG-21UM of the Serbia Air Force crashed in the area of ​​the village of Brasina, near Loznica. There are no details yet on the fate of the crew.

The MiG-21UM, serial 16185, was operated by the 101. ловачка авијацијска ескадрила (101.lae, Fighter Aviation Squadron) based at Batajnica.

According to the Scramble Magazine database this trainer MiG-21 was one of three MiG-21UMs still operational. However, other reports indicate that this MiG-21UM was the only MiG-21 still operational.
