Support aircraft SWAFHF
The Swedish Air Force Historic Flight (SWAFHF) has purchased a Cessna Citation II as support aircraft for the fleet of historic aircraft.
The Citation II was bought in Denmark and is now registered as SE-RMI (construction number 550-0284). Its previous identity OY-JEV was cancelled from the Danish register on 17 February 2021.
The Citation is painted in Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) markings and is, next to its civil registration, marked as a Tp103 with serial/code 103003/033, F17 markings and SWAFHF titles. Looking at the photos of the Citation on the SWAFHF website, the aircraft was first photographed in its new markings somewhere early this year.
One of the first public appearances was the visit of the Citation to the Open Day at Kecskemét (Hungary) on 28/29 August 2021.
In the past Sweden also operated the Tp103 Citation. Two aircraft were leased for a short period and were operated by F17. The serials and previous identities of the two Citations were:
