Surprise visit CMV-22B
On 9 September 2021, CMV-22B Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) Osprey BuNo 169441, coded 34, operated by Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron (VRM) 30 Det.1 Titans made a surprise visit to Singapore.
The tilt rotor only stayed on the ground at Paya Lebar for one hour before departing again to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) operating in the South China Sea.
On 25 November 2020, Scramble Magazine reported on the first sea trials of the CMV-22B Osprey. These trials continued for some months and have lead to a declaration of initial operational capability (IOC) for the CMV-22B.
Early August 2021 the Titans embarked the USS Carl Vinson on the first forward deployment.
