TB2 Bayraktar for Latvia and Albania
After the orders from Poland, Morocco and Ukraine for the Bayraktar TB2 Unmanned Combat Aerial System (UCAS), also Latvia and Albania have showed interest in the Turkish made UCAS.
Both countries visited Baykar Makina, the producer of the TB2, in June 2021. The Albanian government already decided to purchase an undisclosed number of armed Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aircraft.
Latvia is interested in the armed version too, but no contract has been signed yet. It was not reported how many TB2 units are involved. Each unit represents six individual UCAS aircraft.
