Top Aces continue advanced training for Germany
Top Aces Inc. will continue to deliver fast jet adversary air training services to the Luftwaffe (GAF, German Air Force) from 1 January 2022, as the Canadian-based contractor owned and contractor operated (COCO) company announced on 26 April. The contract is a follow-on award for Top Aces, which has been providing the services for the last six years.
According to the Senior Programme Manager, German Operations, at Top Aces, Rolf Brandt, the company states that “In support of the growing programme, we plan to increase our staffing levels in Germany and will add more than twenty highly skilled employment opportunities to the local economy.”
Top Aces Inc. fields Dornier Alpha Jets, Douglas A-4 Skyhawks, and Bombardier Learjets that it uses for COCO training, and Top Aces Corp., the US subsidiary of Top Aces Inc. (Canada), recently began receiving 29 former Heyl Ha’Avir (IAF, Israeli Air Force) General Dynamics F-16A-10-CF Netz and F-16B-10-CF Netz aircraft. The first F-16s have arrived with Top Aces Corp. at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway airport (AZ). Scramble Magazine reported on 2 December 2020 on the Israeli contract.
In July 2020, the Belgian Air Component (BAF, Belgian Air Force) sold 25 Alpha Jets to Top Aces Inc. (Canada). These Alpha Jets will be added to the already twenty former GAF Alpha Jets. Top Aces Inc. operates out of Wittmundhafen in the north of Germany with the Alpha Jet and A-4N Skyhawk.
