Two-seater for Hurricane Heritage
Hurricane Heritage, based at the historic airfield of White Waltham, near Maidenhead (UK), has announced that it will add Hawker Hurricane BE505 (G-HHII) to its fleet next year. This Hurricane Mk.XII (c/n CCF/R20023) is the only two-seater of the type in the world. The machine (formerly owned by Peter Teichman) was converted by Hawker Restorations of Elmsett into trainer configuration).
With its newly acquired BE505, Hurricane Heritage plans to provide passenger rides with enthusiasts in the backseat. The newcomer joins the other two aircraft already in the fleet: Battle of Britain veteran Hawker Hurricane R4118 (G-HUPW) and Noorduyn Harvard Mk2B FE511 (G-CIUW). All three warbirds are registered to mr. James Brown of Oxford.
