Update farewell flypast AAC Gazelle

A new date has been set for the final flypast of the AAC 665 Squadron Gazelle, Monday 23 October 2023. The farewell flight will be departing from, stopping at or overflying, UK locations that have played an important role across the Gazelle’s service.

The Aérospatiale/Westlands Gazelle entered service on 6 July 1974 and has provided service to UK Defence in the UK including Northern Ireland; Germany, Hong Kong, Falklands, Iraq, Kosovo, Canada, Kenya, Belize and Cyprus.

Start will be at 10:00 hrs LT at Aldergrove and then via Thiepval Barraks, Manchester Barton, RAF Shawbury, Hereford, Abbey Wood, Army HQ - Andover, Middle Wallop, Safran Aerospace onto Fleetlands - Vector Aerospace where they will land at 15:45 hrs LT.
