The Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya (FAU, Uruguay Air Force) has acquired a second C-120 (EMB120RT) for around USD 1,4 million. It will receive serial number 551 and join sister-ship 550 later his year.
After withdrawing the C-95 (EMB110) the need for more mid-size transport aircraft became pressing. The airframe was acquired from InterCaribbean Airways.
Most likely candidate is VQ-TDG (120275) that was last reported at Campo Grande. That is notable, because the local company ATM does EMB120 Brasilia rework and happens to be involved in this deal as well.
