Rajlovac is old pre-World War II airfield near Sarajevo. It was home to a technical school of the former Yugoslav air force before the break-up of Yugoslavia. More recently, it was taken over by the Bosnian air force, which saw itself accompanied by helicopters of the military mission in Bosnia, nowadays named EUFOR.
The helicopter aprons can be found on the north west side of the base. No views are possible from the east side. The north side of the base is in use by the Bosnian military, whereas the south side is currently used by EUFOR.
The base can be found just west of road no.E73, which leaves the city of Sarajevo to the north west. Rajlovac is about 8kms from the city center, next to a huge railway emplacement.
Unfortunately, this preserved MiG-21 can not be seen from outside the fence.
