In the heart of Serbia, the industrial city of Kraljevo can be found. Its airport was constructed as a reserve air base for the former Yugoslav air force, but after the break-up it was taken into active service by Serbia. More recently, construction work has started to make Ladjevci a civil airport as well, mainly intended for cargo use. This work may affect the situation as described in this airfield guide. Beware, plane spotting and photography are not generally understood as a hobby in Serbia.
Ladjevci's single runway lies northwest-southeast. Dispersal areas can be found on both sides of both thresholds. The main apron is located on the south east side, as is the main gate of the airfield.
The airfield is located between the main road from Kraljevo to Cacak and the Zapadna Morava river, about half way between the two cities. From Kraljevo centre, head north to Cacak, the airfield can be found after about 15kms on your left.
