At least three Beech 350 are on lease by the Jandarma IKU for surveillance duties. IKU stands for İnsanlı Keşif Uçakları (Manned Reconnaissance Aircraft).

In December 2022 the Turkish Gendarmerie Aviation Directorate ordered three Cavalon Sentinel 915 iS AutoGyro, with an option of an additional five aircraft. The Cavalons serve in the İnsanlı Keşif Uçağı (İKU - Manned Reconnaissance Aircraft) role and will therefore be equipped with a camera system, necessary for its traffic control and public order flights which will be the main task.

The Jandarma operates the Mi-17-1V Hip-H in two different versions: one used for VIP transport and the remaining are used for troop transport, ambulance and assault duties.

During September 2019, the Turkish Gendarmerie S-70A-28D Çelik Kanatlar (Steel Wings) helicopter show at Sivrihisar Hava Gösterileri (SHG - Sivrihisar Air Show) brought two Black Hawks to the show: J-1902 and J-1914.
