Alliance Airlines acquires more ERJ190s

On 26 February 2023, Alliance Airlines announced it has entered a deal with AerCap to acquire additional Embraer ERJ190s. The news comes as the airline has secured a contract to operate twelve additional ERJ190s for QantasLink.

In total, the airline has acquired 30 ERJ190s, which are scheduled to be delivered between September 2023 and January 2026.

Today, Alliance Airlines is operating a fleet of 31 ERJ190s, as well as fourteen Fokker 70s, and 25 Fokker 100s. The airline said in its press-release that the new Embraers will be used for expansion and will continue to be operating the Fokkers as well. Last August, Alliance retired its final Fokker 50s, meaning the company is now an all-jet operation.
