Comair returns to the sky

On 17 March, Comair has returned to the skies, ending a short suspension of its Air Operators Certificate (AOC). After doing an emergency review of the airline's documentations, processes and routines, the South African Civil Aviation Authority was convinced that the airline could operate safely. Over the coming days, Comair's operations across its airlines will be restored gradually.

The suspension of the AOC had a big impact on travellers in South Africa as Comair provided around 40% of the total passenger aircraft-capacity in the country, leaving quite some people stranded.
