Greater Bay Airlines announces MAX-order

As expected, and reported by Scramble in February 2023, Greater Bay Airlines has selected the Boeing B737MAX to grow its fleet. On 3 March 2023, Boeing announced it has signed an order with the carrier for a total of fifteen B737-9s. So far, both companies haven't confirmed when deliveries are expected to begin.

Currently, the airline is operating a fleet of three B737-800s out of Hong Kong to Bangkok, Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo. Greater Bay Airlines was launched in 2019 and started commercial operations in July 2022.
