LOT leases E195-E2s

Earlier this year, in March, LOT Polish Airlines issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) in which it seeks up to 84 new regional aircraft. Although no decision has been made about this order, it now becomes clearer in which direction the airline is leaning as it has signed a lease-agreement for the E195-E2.

On 7 May 2024, LOT announced it reached a deal with Azorra Aviation for the lease of three E195-E2s. The first aircraft is already planned for delivery in July, while the remaining two will be delivered before the end of Q3-2024.

LOT has been a long standing Embraer-customer, taking delivery of its first ERJ145 in 1999. Today, the airline is operating five ERJ170s, thirteen ERJ175s, eight ERJ190s, and fifteen ERJ195s.
