Luxair increases MAX-order

On 28 April 2023, Luxair announced it has decided to increase its order for the MAX with Boeing. The airline announced in March 2023 that it would order two B737-8s directly with the manufacturer and lease two MAX8s via a lessor. Now, the airline has confirmed that it will expand the Boeing order to four, meaning Luxair has now secured six B737-8s.

The two leased aircraft are slated for delivery in the coming months to secure enough capacity for the busy summer period.
