Silk Way West welcomes 1st B777F

Silk Way West Airlines has taken delivery of its first Boeing B777F. The aircraft, registered VP-BMG (67454), was delivered from Everett-Paine Field (WA) to Baku on 23 September 2023 and officially presented to the press on 3 October 2023. It's the first of five B777Fs the airline has on order and the first one to sport Silk Way West's new livery.

Silk Way West Airlines ordered the five B777Fs in June 2022. Since then, it has also ordered two B777-8Fs, as well as two Airbus A350Fs. All new aircraft are expected to be delivered by 2030.

Currently, the fleet is made up of seven B747-400Fs and five B747-8Fs.
