Sion airport - remains of British transport aircraft

When traveling by train through Sion, the track goes along Sion airport with pretty good sight on runway, parkings, ... For some year, a few old civil aircraft, none of them looking airworthy, are visible. Among them is what remains of an old (probably) British transport aircraft : fuselage, (twin) ...

Re: Belgian Fete National 21 July/Defile Militaire

The best place, as far as I know after 20 years living in the area, is either at Cinquantenaire square (you will see the planes coming from the west right in front of you and you'll have plenty of time to get the camera ready), or a little bit further at the begining of Tervueren avenue (around squa...

Re: German Sea Kings - Nordholz

Congratulations !
Great pictures. Thanks a lot.

So please keep showing us those Sea Kings, Sea Lynxes or other vintages, real pilots planes.

Re: Kiev Borispol CIV GOV and MIL

Thanks for those data. I don't know about thie blue An-26 "Yellow 05", but it looks indeed in pretty goog conditions. You are probably right about this (lonely) An-12 : it should be UR-UCK (not UCA). The grey Tu-134 also looks quite in very good condition when compared with the other store...
