Because last year was such a succes we again travelled to Moscow this year. Our goal was to visit Chkalovskaya, Kubinka and Moscow centre for the air parade. This year the russians celebrated their 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazi occupation. In this photo topic I will not show my pictures ...

Re: Little Russia Moscow tour

All taken from outside. No problems. At Kubinka there are a lot of Russian aviation enthousiasts and photographers. Near the other bases no one really cared about our presence.

No issues with the military police and civil security patrol at all. They drove by several times and only gave friendly waves.

Murcia San Javier 09-07-2013 and 16-07-2013 Mil

During my family holiday I visited the airfield of the Academia General del Aire twice. The T-35's fly from the old, short runway 05L 23R near the civil air terminal. The C101's and other aircraft use the main runway 05R 23L. On the western site ( 05 ) the viewing and photographic possibilities are ...

Forest Fire near Nimes France 30-08-2010

On our way to the beach by car, during my family holiday in Southern France, a forest fire passed by. Of course I had to stop to see what would happen. And sure something happened. Soon I was in the center of the fire extinguishing activities. As an aviationphotographer I hoped for Canadairs . The f...

Re: NATO Tiger Meet spottersday 18 September 2009

A Mirage F-1 from Albacete crashed yesterday sept 10, 2009. Pilot has succesfully ejected and is o.k. An investigation has been started to find the cause of this accident. Hopefully this doesn't mean a cancellation for the 5 Spanish Mirage F-1's due to attent. In my opinion the F-1 delegation was on...

Re: Belarus Su-27 demo Radom August 28th, tribute to two heroes

Hi Paul, Great tribute and nice pictures. On film footage of the crash I observe some parts falling away from the Flanker. The origin of the parts seems to come from behind the cockpit area (enginebay?). It looks like there is a small explosion in that area just prior to the parts departing. And I w...

Re: Belarus Su-27 crashed at Radom Air Show

I also observe some parts falling away from the Flanker at 0.17 sec. The origin of the parts seems to come from behind the cockpit area (enginebay?). It looks like there is a small explosion in that area just prior to the parts departing. And I was just happy again that some "beautifull Eastern...
