This Chinook was captured during the Arctic Thunder Airshow this year on Elmendorf Alaska. This year on 31 July and 1 August, the bi-annual airshow Arctic Thunder was held on Elmendorf AFB in Alaska. The Wednesday before the show, a C-17 from Elmendorf crashed after take-off.
