Currently the new USS Portland (LPD-27) is in Portland harbour for festivities. Besides partytents there was a V-22 on the helicopterdeck. Anyone a serial?? Noted today at the Alley Cat Supply Co (military surplus company) was UH-1B 62-2067 in bad condition, cockpitwindows are missing, panels, rotor and plating is missing.

I wonder were they put the 2nd one. We organised a self guided tour aboard the ship and visited almost everything from the engineroom, crewrooms, storage rooms, we found dogs, cats, lost sailors etc but didn't found a second helicopter. I must admit that I didn't read the c/n myself, only the code.....
