Re: The 'Occasional Manchester' thread

Many thanks for the comments, chaps. Some shots from a dismal Thursday, had two very nice movements within mere minutes of each other. UAEAF A330 MRTT, 1300, arrived on its way to March ARB, California, departing the next day. http://www.martinneedham.co.uk/images/IMG_7706_1200px.jpg Followed very s...

The 'Occasional Manchester' thread

Having received a much needed repaint at Manchester's Air Livery facility, the Democratic Republic of Congo's 727-30 9Q-CDC departed to Lasham on Friday in abysmal weather. The aircraft is one of the earliest 727s still airworthy, having been constructed in 1965. http://www.martinneedham.co.uk/image...

Re: Air force day 20/21 June 2014 RNLAF (luchtmachtdagen 201

Does anyone know if the NLR Metroliner and Delft University of Technology Citation have been invited? They have been very close to the top of my 'hitlist' on numerous visits to AMS over the past two or three years, but I've never managed to photograph them. I'm acutely aware they have attended airsh...

Re: AeroExpo Marrakech 2014

Many thanks, chaps. Jaap - Am I correct in the assumption that the helicopters display on a different line to the fighters/transports, and are therefore further away from Ouarzazate Avenue? Thermal - I've made extensive and exhaustive searches for images from past AeroExpos on Airliners.net and the ...

AeroExpo Marrakech 23-26 April 2014

Hi All, I'm thinking of visiting Marrakech for the above airshow at the end of April. Having had a search on the forum, I've found some images from previous events and am wondering how people found shooting at Menara. The static looks quite cramped and cluttered - Am I correct in thinking that the f...

REQ. 08/04/2013 Stored 146s

Whilst visiting Brussels/Zaventem on 08/04/2013, I noted two BAE 146s/Avroliners on the north side of the airfield to the west of the military terminal. One, a fuselage, was in basic Brussels Airlines colours and the other, missing engines, was white with a red and dark blue tail with small 'Brussel...

Many thanks, Stratofreighter, the CL-215 was shot at St Athan; there's currently two stored/undergoing scheduled maintenance there before returning to Turkey for the summer.

Many thanks for the confirmation, obviously the Wikipedia page on the Luchtvaartpolitie hasn't been updated recently!

Cheers,

Will do!

As an addition, I believe the Luchtvaartpolitie still have an MBB BO-105 (possibly PH-RPZ?) on strength as a reserve aircraft?

Would anyone be able to shed some light on where this is also based?

Many thanks,

Martin

Re: NLR Swearingen SA-226 PH-NLZ

Many thanks, Chaps, that's superb info and greatly appreciated.

I stumbled across the large car park at Schipol Oost on my last visit, back in October, so know roughly where I'm going!

Thanks again,

Martin
