Air New Zealand retired 737-300 ZK-SJC from operational service in June 2013 as the airline is progressively replacing the 737 with newly purchased Airbus 320s for their domestic network.
ZK-SJC left New Zealand on 7th October for Opa Locka, FL. It is said that this 737 will head to South America.
The 737-300 first flew with Frontier Airlines (US) in 1998, before being registered as ZK-SJC in 2001 where it flew with Freedom Air until joining the Air New Zealand fleet in 2005.
