Volgens de lokale hulpdiensten is de helikopter neergestort in de rivier de Dordogne in de buurt van de plaats Lugon-et-l'île-du-Carnay. Vrijdagavond is een lichaam gevonden. Naar de andere wordt zaterdag verder gezocht.

Three victims still missing as speculation surrounds cause of crash.

A group of agricultural activists have claimed responsibility for the death of a Bordeaux winemaker and a Chinese billionaire in a helicopter crash in December.

In a typed letter which appeared in print in the French daily newspaper Midi Libre on Thursday, the Agricultural Action Committee claimed that James Gregoire, who sold Château de la Rivière to Chinese businessman Lam Kok, “paid with his life for selling the vineyard to a foreign buyer exactly 10 days after we had warned him not to.”
