CityJet/VLM to be merged into new Austrian regional airline

Cityjet (WX, Dublin Int'l) is to be merged with Austrian regional carrier InterSky (3L, Friedrichshafen) according to Intro Aviation GmbH co-founder, Hans Rudolf Woehrl.

The German turnaround specialists last month submitted a firm offer to Air France (AF, Paris CDG) for the purchase of both Cityjet and its Belgian subsidiary, VLM (VG, Antwerp).
Mr Woehrl said that the acquisition has not yet been formalized, but is imminent.
