In July 1955, three Dutch pilots were attached to No.229 OCU at RAF Chivenor for a Hunter conversion course. Four Hunter F.Mk.4s were loaned to the unit for the sole purpose of training these pilots, including WT721, WT766, WT774 and WT800. The RAF would not receive their own Hunter F.Mk.4s for another two years!
Can I ask if anyone knows the names of these three pilots and how long the training lasted?
