News: crash Cabri G2 D-HAIG in Langenfeld on 20140204

Hélicoptères Guimbal Cabri G2 D-HAIG crashed next to Autobahn A3 in Langenfeld. The helicopter was engaged in controlling an oil pipeline from the air. After the helicopter landen for checking an excavation site, the helicopter tried to take off but started to spin around and crashed from about 4 meters. Both persons onboard were safe and had no injuries.

This Cabri used to be a common sight within the Rotterdam CTR for pipeline control in the 'Maasvlakte' area, so was also active in Dutch airspace!
