GRAS Base visit Beauvechain 05-05-14

Actually AT29 taxied away to the active when I made that shot, but she got a technical and returned!

What about the boxes around the wheels of that NH-90?

Great day, great visit. Both NH-90s (RN-05 & RN-06) were hangered due to technical checks. Funny to see the interior of the hanger (floor, cranes, etc.) completely refurbished to new for the NH-90s but the building shell itself wasn't (old hanger doors, windows, offices etc.).

The AT29 was ready to leave for a paint job at Florennes but cancelled its flight.

The two other Alpha Jets AT06 and AT20 were used for a promotion flight of Koen Wauters (famous Belgian Artist/Singer). See facebook Beauvechain Airbase Fan page.
