From 8 Wing:
8 WING/CFB TRENTON -- Various Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aircraft that served in Afghanistan will conduct a flyby rehearsal at 8 Wing Trenton between 1 p.m. EST and 2 p.m. EST on May 7th. The following day is a back-up date for inclement weather.
This flyby rehearsal is in preparation for the National Day of Honour flyby over Parliament Hill in Ottawa on May 9th. The following RCAF aircraft will be conducting the flyby rehearsal:
2 x CH-146 Griffon helicopters;
1 x CH-147F Chinook helicopter;
1 x CC-130H Hercules;
1 x CC-150 Polaris;
1 x CC-177 Globemaster III;
1 x CC-130J Hercules; and,
1 x CP-140 Aurora.
